The Worms series of games has a notion of 'soundbanks', which allows players to customize their worm teams by assigning them a set of sounds (called a 'soundbank'), either from a collection included with the game, or creating a custom soundbank from player-specified sound files.

Flawless Victory Wav

Soundbank sounds and meaning

This is a list of sound files and descriptions used in the 2nd-generation of the 2D series.

The descriptions are taken from the Soundbank Editor (specifically, the names.wdb file). Some of these sounds aren't used (see below), some are used incorrectly. Some of these descriptions are inaccurate or too unspecific.

FilenameDescription from names.wdbNotes
Boring.wavPhrase used when worm does something boring.Plays when an enemy worm's turn timer hits zero. Also plays for a random team when a game ends in a draw.
